Tour Guides Each of your friendly and helpful guides posesses
an intimate knowledge of the local trails, ecology and history.
In addition, they are capable of handling most trailside repairs
and are trained in wilderness first aid. They also promise to have as much fun as possible. After all it is your vacation!
Susan Amon has
been mountain biking since 1983. She has been a member
of the WOMBATS (WOmans Mountain Bike And Tea Society), with whom
she led many club rides in Marin County California. Since moving
to Sedona in 1997 she has been leading regular group rides which
eventually evolved into Sedona MTB Adventures. Susan was a professional classical musician for many years who crossed over to comuters but eventually left the rat race for the trails. She still plays the clarinet in local orchestras.
Andy Reinert hails from Alaska where he lead multi day mountain bike and snowboard tours. Andy is a very experienced guide. He posessess the skill to challenge the most agressive riders but also has the gental nature to help the newest of riders. Andy has a broad background from eduation, computers, bike mechanic, and of course outfitter guiding. He's very popular so make your reservations early!
Jason Heartisan in not only an expert rider but has a degree in fine arts specializing in glass, metal, and clay. He and his wife grew up in Sedona with all of Sedona's single track trails in their back yard! Jason has also traveled the world from Cyprus to Italy to Africa where they soaked up a good dose of what the world has to offer and what he has to offer you! If you want ADVENTURE Jason is your guide! Oh, and he speaks Swahili pretty well....
Bob Carabell loves to ride a bike, road bike that is. Bob has ridden 10's of thousands of miles on a road bike. Alas he does not like mountain biking. Therefore, he has chosen the option of answering the phone and driving the shuttles. You can talk with Bob about anything from astronomy, history, science, and of course the the law for which he was a professor for about 22 years! Since he's retired he's been our "behind the scene" guy.
